The Turkish capital is curious as to whether the Belgian judicial mechanism will function appropriately and in a timely manner for extradition of a Turk accused by Turkey of involvement in the murder of a prominent Turkish journalist, following a recent scandal marked by the escape of another Turk, Fehriye Erdal, from home detention after a Belgian court sentenced her to four years in prison for membership in a terrorist group."
