Turkey: Coffee manager receives order on Whatsapp, sales increase 50 percent

A coffeehouse keeper, Ali Kazım Köksal, has begun to receive orders on Whatsapp after deactivating the walkie-talkie system because of its costs.
Köksal has been running a coffeehouse in the western Turkish city Yalova for 15 years. He had been using a walkie talkie system, before realizing it cost too much. Köksal then began receiving tea and coffee orders using the instant messaging platform, Whatsapp, and said sales have subsequently increased by 50 percent.
