European Union blocks entry to Turkish watermelons and tomatoes
The European Parliament (EP) and the Council of the European Union (EU) have issued a regulation whereby two import quotas from Turkey will be suspended, one for 14,000 tonnes/year of fresh watermelons and another for 30,000 tonnes/year of processed or preserved tomatoes.
