Greed-induced blindness is dragging Turkey into quagmire

There are magnificent Turkish proverbs that can concisely describe a situation. "Besle kargayı oysun gözünü" is one of them, and it roughly corresponds to the English saying "to bite the hand that feeds you." This is, I think, a proverb that perfectly describes the occupations and massacres undertaken by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in Iraq and Syria and its emergence as a threat to Turkey.
