CHP seeks to remove media blackout on Iraq hostages

Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) Deputy Chairman Sezgin Tanrıkulu has filed an appeal with the Ankara 9th High Criminal Court, seeking to remove a blackout on media coverage of the abduction of about 100 Turkish citizens by extremist militants in northern Iraq.
