"Turks claim precedent in Tymvios land swap ruling

GREEK and Turkish Cypriot sides yesterday took differing views on the European Court of Human Rights’ (ECHR) decision on the controversial land swap between a Greek and Turkish Cypriot.
The Turkish Cypriot side saw the Court’s acceptance of a friendly settlement between Greek Cypriot Mike Tymvios and Turkey as a recognition of the property commission in the north.
The Cyprus government said the Court did no such thing."
