ISTANBUL, April 1 (Reuters) - Turkish shares rose and the lira fell on Tuesday as investors pondered how the ruling AK Party would respond to a court decision to hear a case to shut the party down.
On Monday, stocks lost as much as 3.4 percent and the Turkish lira weakened as much as 2.2 percent after the Constitutional Court said it would examine a court case brought against the AK Party for suspected Islamic activities."
