"TUSKON’s Turkey-Eurasia Foreign Trade Bridge begins to bear fruit
The Turkish Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists' (TUSKON) second Turkey-Eurasia Foreign Trade Summit laid the groundwork for $1.5 billion in business deals within the region in a range of fields, from a brick factory to a flourmill and from textiles to gold processing.
TUSKON President Rızanur Meral told the Anatolia news agency that many joint initiatives had been proposed by Turkish businessmen, including a $25 million pipe production facility in Ukraine, a $1.5 million tissue producing facility in Tajikistan, the distribution of Turkish carpets worth $400,000 in Kazakhstan and a brick factory in Mongolia."
