"Rehn: EU ready to help Turkey in nuclear energy

Olli Rehn, EU commissioner for enlargement, said Tuesday the EU was ready to assist Turkey in nuclear energy.
Rehn said the Turkish government should take into consideration nuclear safety when it makes a decision on construction of nuclear power plants when he responded to a question motion. The European Commission asked member countries to assure a high-level nuclear safety, he stated."
