With just hours to go before the legal tender changeover from Cyprus pound to the Euro on Jan. 1, Greek Cypriot authorities and citizens in the southern sector of the eastern Mediterranean island seem well prepared to embrace the single currency which will not officially apply to Turkish Cypriots who say they will be the new currency’s most enthusiastic users."
