"Turkish Lawyers’ Union sue Robert Kocharian

Armenian President Robert Kocharian has been brought to the court in Turkey, APA reports.
Lawyers’ Union leader Kamal Kerincsiz has appealed to the prosecutor’s office of Robert Kocharian and other 77 people in connection with Khojaly genocide. In his appeal he noted that 613 people had been slain in Khojaly massacre in Feb 26, 1992. He underscored that there is still no information about near 5.000 missing Azerbaijanis during the conflict. The lawyer stated that Khojaly genocide and Armenians’ terror acts were committed by illegal armed forces instructed by Robert Kocharian. He requested the prosecutor’s office to charge Kocharian and other 77 suspects with committing genocide, crime against mankind and torture."
