"'Turkish economy is better than the two countries joining EU lately'
German economy research institute included the economic effects of Turkey's membership to EU in its conjuncture prevision report. The report contained comparisons between Turkish economy and the economies of Bulgaria and Romania which are the members of EU as of 1 January 2007. German economists stated: 'In the last decade the economic growth in Turkey is bigger, we can not only see this growth in the last half of the 90s but also in the beginning of this century.'"
