"EU no longer neutral on Cyprus, place for solution is UN

The European Union totally lost its neutrality on Cyprus problem by accepting the Greek Cypriot administration as a member in 2003, said Turkey's Land Forces Commander Gen. Ilker Basbug on Thursday.
'The EU has also weakened its possible influence for reaching a settlement. The place for a solution to the Cyprus problem is the UN,' he stressed. "
