"Cappadocia's fairy chimneys may crumble

The famous cone-shaped geological formations in Cappadocia are under threat of collapse, according to Göreme Mayor Fevzi Günal.
In an interview with the Anatolia news agency, Günal warned that the unusual geological features of Cappadocia, located in the province of Nevşehir, could soon cave in due to erosion caused by wind, rain and snow."
