"Talat: '07 elections could hurt prospects for Cyprus solution
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) president stated on Tuesday that elections this year in Turkey could negatively affect Cyprus peace prospects since a tendency to postpone the solution up until the day of Turkey's membership in the Union has emerged.
'This tendency is very dangerous and could rob us of our rights,' President Mehmet Ali Talat said."
