"Turkey: First EU chapter to open on June 12
14:33 - 30 May 2006 - European Union (EU) foreign ministers agreed, during their weekend meeting in Vienna, to open the first chapter of negotiations with Turkey on June 12. The chapter will be opened at the 25 nation bloc EU foreign ministers’ meeting in Luxembourg, when also the EU-Turkey Partnership Council shall convene. The chapter concerns Science and Research."
