Turkey: Lira Continues to Plunge Despite Erdogan’s Efforts

Ankara- Said Abdel Razek The Turkish lira continued to plunge on the backdrop of US President Donald Trump's decision to double tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from Turkey to 50 and 20 percent respectively. Meanwhile, Ankara announced its rejection of the resolution, insisting it would reciprocate.
