Democracy in the family
Have you noticed that every nationality has its own ideas on roles and who does what? In some nations, roles are more complex than in others. Recent studies on work and family in the United States reveal that children are spending less than half an hour a day doing cleaning, laundry and other household chores. When I was growing up, my mom in cleverly convinced us kids that housework instills certain virtues in a person and we believed her.
