There is a ready market for Tanzanian cotton in the country. Mangoes and passion fruits which Tanzania has in plentiful supply also do not grow in Turkey and this provides a unique export opportunity. Turkey also wants to cultivate cotton in Tanzania for export to feed its ever expanding textile industry. "
