"Seven detained in Istanbul police operation
Seven people alleged to have links to a terror organization were detained following a police operation in Istanbul’s central district of Şişli early Friday, news agencies reported.
Around 04.00 a.m., a police department anti-terror unit raided a flat on Abide-i Hürriyet Avenue with support from a helicopter unit, while a medical team was stationed nearby in case conflict erupted. The detainees were captured in the office of a journal that allegedly maintains links with the illegal Revolutionary People's Liberation Party-Front, or DHKP-C, Anatolia news agency reported."
