Turkey is one of several European destinations attracting holidaymakers in search of a warm climate over the Christmas period.
Frances Tuke, spokesperson for the Association of British Travel Agents, said the country is proving popular with UK people who prefer the 'winter sun aspect' for their Christmas holidays."
