ANKARA (JTW) - The PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party) which is on the terrorist organizations list of meny states, including United States, United Kingdom and Turkey, launched what can easily be called a smear campaign against the new Kurdish channel in Turkey. Murat Karayilan, one of the PKK leaders, referred to the TRT's Kurdish TV project as a "tightrope walker's game." In a message he sent to PKK sympathizers, Karayilan called for a boycott against the Kurdish TRT (TRT 6)."
