GREEK Cypriots spend up to 10 times more money on entertainment in the occupied areas and up to 28 times more on hotels than Turkish Cypriots spend in the free areas.
Similarly Turkish Cypriots spend 21 times more money at supermarkets in the free areas and up to five times more on clothes than Greek Cypriots are willing to spend in the north.
Moreover Turkish Cypriots overall spend more money on their credit cards in the free areas than Greek Cypriots spend in the occupied areas."
