With the British economy in turmoil and the pound falling badly against the euro and the US dollar, UK holidaymakers are starting to look outside the eurozone for cheap, local holidays.
Switzerland, Norway and Croatia are all non-eurozone countries expecting a rise in tourism, but perhaps one of the most popular destinations expected in 2009 is Turkey, which is preparing itself for its biggest influx of tourists since 2004 when the country hosted the Eurovision Song Contest."
