One of Istanbul’s landmark building and a Koç Holding institution, 50 year old Divan Istanbul Hotel is being rebuilt. The new hotel, renovated with a budget of approximately 50 million USD, is to combine Istanbul’s architectural and cultural heritage with Divan’s international service quality.
Divan Istanbul, inaugurated in 1956 by Koç Holding’s founder Vehbi Koç in order to support to Turkish tourism and raise young names in the tourism industry, has been the building block of the sector’s leading brand, Divan. Rebuilt after 53 years of existence, Divan Istanbul is loctaed in Taksim, the city’s social, cultural and business center."
