"Dervis Eroglu back in the Cyprus limelight

The main opposition National Unity Party in northern Cyprus has held its 17th General Congress and Dervis Eroglu has become the new National Unity Party leader.
Making a speech after his election, Mr Eroglu said he had not won but his party had won and added that ‘their walk towards the power has begun’.
He said his party had showed what democracy was really about."
