"Cyprus wants to end the division

The aim of the President and of the Government of the Republic of Cyprus is to seek and reach a solution of the Cyprus question by the Cypriots and for the Cypriots, Government Spokesman Stephanos Stephanou has said.
He added that the Cyprus government is firmly committed to this goal and is doing everything in its power to facilitate its achievement."
