"Turkish FM urges financial institutions show restraint, avoid risks

ANKARA, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) -- Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan said Saturday that financial institutions should show restraint and avoid risks in the face of global financial crisis, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported.
Speaking at the closing of the meeting of World Economic Forum on Europe and Central Asia in the Turkish largest city of Istanbul,Babacan said nobody was sure about the extent of the effects of the global financial crisis or how long it would last."
