"Woman sues base station for her cancer

A woman in Muğla's Bodrum district who recently won her fight against cancer has filed a suit requesting the removal of the base stations that were said to be the reason for her illness, reported the Doğan news agency yesterday. Türkan Akgün, 47, who lives on Atatürk Street, the dead end of Dr. Ekrem Uslu Street, complained about the stations to the district and its public prosecutors four years ago. Akgün pleaded with Bodrum's Civil Court of First Instance to go after three different GSM operators for planting the base stations."
