"European Union divided over Turkey's entry

The otherwise expanding European Union is presently divided over admitting Turkey. The reason cited is that it's an Islamic nation.
There's no Muslim country in this 27-nation club.
Turkey has 90 million people. Some fear that could change the Chrisitian character of the Union. "
