"Earthquake rattles Turkey, no casualties (AFP) 26 August 2007 ISTANBUL - An earthquake registering a magnitude 5.4 on the Richter scale shook southeast Turkey on Sunday, with no casualties reported, Turkey’s Kandilli seismology centre said. The quake happened at 1:05 am local time (2205 GMT Saturday) in the province of Bingol, not far from the town of Karliova, the Istanbul-based centre said."
