"World Bank grants earthquake loan for Istanbul

World Bank granted Turkey two loans totaling $822 million last Thursday. A loan of $500 million and a maturity of 10 years aims to support the government's program to promote growth and employment. Another loan of $322.15 million was granted to assist the Istanbul Municipality Infrastructure Project (IMIP). The loan is guaranteed by the Turkish Treasury and has a 15-year maturity."
