MERSIN - Turkey�s record high temperatures have claimed their first fatality, with the death of a 52 year old woman late Monday. Hatice Oral died in hospital after collapsing while working in a field in the township of Silifke in the southern province of Mersin. Oral, who medical authorities said had a history of high blood pressure problems, apparently died after the extreme heat brought on a swelling of blood vessels in her brain."
