"Hatay Museum: Artifact smuggling on the rise

Hatay's Museums Directorate warned yesterday of a surge in illegal excavations and smuggling of historical artifacts due to poor security measures in the region.
Hatay Governor Ahmet Kayhan also complained yesterday about inadequate security at the region's museums, which have unfortunately become easy targets for thieves."
