"Turkey's State Oil Co Interested In Ecuador Opportunities

QUITO -(Dow Jones)- Turkey's state-owned oil company, the Turkish Petroleum International Company, or TPIC, is interested in investing in oil projects in Ecuador, Ecuador's Energy Ministry said Wednesday in a statement.
A delegation from TPIC met earlier with Energy Minister Ivan Rodriguez and Galo Chiriboga, president of Ecuador's state-owned oil company Petroecuador.
'The vice president of the state company, Yakup Ozcelik, said the government of Turkey is interested in developing commercial projects that benefit both governments,' the statement said. "
