"Armenians Ratify Constitutional Amendment

The Armenian public that refused the constitutional change two years ago has now ratified it with a majority.
According to the exit poll results of Armenian Active Political Fund, 88 percent of the voters said 'yes' to the constitutional change.
As the Armenian Central Election Committee indicated a 64 percent turnout ratio, the final results are expected to be announced Monday. From the 2,300,000 voters one out of every three votes had to be “yes” in order to confirm the package of alteration. In the draft prepared to re-shape the power balance between the parliament and president, dual-citizenship is granted to the Armenian Diaspora."
