"Turkish Public Reacts to "Separatist" Advertisement
Leading Kurdists placed an advert in the International Herald Tribune and Le Monde newspapers on Friday. In the ad the it is argued that Turkey should give the Kurds what it wants from the EU for the Turkish people in Cyprus. In another word the ad defends a federation, even a separate independent state. Turkish officials have described as unfortunate and said the ad does not represent the majority of the Kurds in Turkey."
