It is a happy coincidence that the eagle's head emblazoned on Kemal Sahin's business card, a play on his name, which means 'falcon' in his native Turkish language, should also be the symbol of Germany, his adoptive home for the past three decades.
Mr Sahin, a successful entrepreneur of Turkish descent, represents a lesser-known face of German business that is pushing itself to the fore in the run-up to next Friday's summit, when the European Union's heads of governments finally decide whether to start membership negotiations with Turkey."
