Turkey and the European Union (EU) share the same views about progress in Iraq.
Osman Koruturk, part of Turkey's Special Envoy to Iraq, who met yesterday in Brussels, with the EU High Representative, Javier Solana, and EU Commissioner for Foreign Affairs, Benita Ferrero Waldner, and Michael Leigh.
Koruturk said in a press conference immediately following the meeting, 'There is a great closeness between the EU and Turkey's attitude towards Iraq.' "
