EU gives Turkey a green light for "Turkish" trademark - Worldakkam

EU gives Turkey a green light for “Turkish” trademark The European Union agency responsible for trademarks has applied for registration of the term “Turkish” from Turkey. The European Union Intellectual Property Office granted a trademark to the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency in December last year. The trademark is valid until July 2031.
