Turkey's election board finds Erdoğan top recipient of deceased people's donations
Turkey’s Supreme Election Board found that 866 deceased people donated to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s campaign for Jun. 24 elections, opposition newspaper Birgün said on Wednesday.
The Board found irregularities in donations made to all presidential candidates, but the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) broke a record in the number of donations from people that had passed away.
