The ISIS machine runs on oil, there’s no doubt.
Russian and Turkish officials have launched counterclaims over who is really profiting from oil smuggled from ISIS territory. Both countries have asserted the existence of criminal groups who help the radical militants make $1 million each day from smuggled oil.
