Imported gilded marble to adorn Turkish and Finnish steam baths in Ak Saray
Exclusive 24-carat gilded marble at a cost of 3,000 euros per square meter has been imported from Italy to be used during the construction of a spa that includes Turkish baths (hamam), Finnish steam baths and pools within the presidential palace, claimed Tezcan Karakuş Candan, head of the Turkish Union of Engineers and Architects' Chambers (TMMOB) Ankara branch.
