Over the recent years, the President Recep Tayyip Erdogan led Turkish government has not hidden its passion to warmly embrace authoritarian principles that are often veiled in democratic costume. Erdogan, who rode to power more than a decade ago under a functional democratic setting appears to be busy dismantling the very democratic structures that ushered him into the reins of power.
