EU to press Turkey on rule of law and rights, says Pittella
Chair of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats (S&D) in the European Parliament Gianni Pittella has said, “We want to open Chapters 23 and 24 of the [EU] negotiation process because we want to push the Turkish authorities to follow the guidelines for Turkey accepted by the Ministry of EU Affairs.”
