Special tunnel boring machine to link Istanbul

An extremely large tunnel boring machine is on its way from Germany to Turkey, where it will help excavate the Bosphorus Crossing, a large-diameter road tunnel that will cross beneath the Bosphorus strait in Istanbul and expand the infrastructure bottleneck between Europe and Asia.
