Turkish TV maker Vestel seeks to bolster its presence in Europe

Beneath the radar, a Turkish television manufacturer is seeking to bolster its already strong presence in Europe’s homes and offices.
Vestel, a listed subsidiary of Turkey’s Zorlu Holding, produces about 18 per cent of the televisions bought in Europe, second after Samsung. A decade ago, that figure was 25 per cent – market share the company wants back.
