The rule of law in Turkey

The rule of law in Turkey is a scandal. You don’t have to be a general, a journalist or a concert pianist to agree. On 23 January there were also 18,774 applicants to the European Court of Human Rights who thought so too. This number is only exceeded by Russia but when it comes to the number of violations of the Human Rights Convention, Turkey is still the front runner.
