"Yunus Emre Institutes to introduce Turkish culture
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism is to establish Yunus Emre Institutes in various countries to introduce Turkish culture to the world. This project will be realized with the assistance of many institutions and universities.
Minister of Culture and Tourism Atilla Koç stated that the Yunus Emre Institute will undertake the mission of presenting the Turkish language and culture to the world just like many other Western institutions such as the Goethe and Cervantes institutes, which act as representatives of their respective cultures in many countries. Emphasizing the universal value of the Turkish poet Yunus Emre, Koç said that it was a pleasure for him to announce the establishment of Yunus Emre Institutes."
