The United States arms embargo against Turkey in 1975, after the military intervention into Cyprus in 1974, turned into a curtain of mystery recently with the publishing of internal reports by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) this week. The archives supported the argument of the U.S. to gave military and economic aid to Turkey although Washington imposed an embargo against the country one year after the intervention."
